In mutants NF1 and NF2, NF-κB sites have been truncated, whereas in Δ21-pb, a TxRE has been deleted. Finally, GRE and IRF are mutated in the glucocorticoid- and interferon-responsive sites, respectively. An uninfected sheep, sheep 115, was used as a control.
