Classification outcomes are shown for the conventional CP threshold of 25%, the Youden’s index-derived threshold of 30%, and the sensitivity-specificity intersection threshold of 34%, using vHIT-defined unilateral vestibular dysfunction as the reference classification. CP-abnormal/vHIT-normal cases and CP-normal/vHIT-defined unilateral vestibular dysfunction cases indicate discordant classifications and should not be interpreted as definitive diagnostic misclassifications for AUVP because vHIT was not used as an independent disease reference standard. AUVP, acute unilateral vestibulopathy; CP, canal paresis; vHIT, video head impulse test; CI, confidence interval.
