Prediction probability (P_K) values of the sensory block, determined by pinprick (Block_p) or temperature (Block_t), for the verbal sedation (VRS, 0-10) and observer's assessment alertness/sedation (OAA/S) scores, and bispectral index (BIS). P_K values of BIS for the VRS and OAA/S scores are also presented. Because multiple statistical comparisons were performed, we considered a P value <0.01 to be statistically significant for this analysis and this is denoted by an asterisk (*). The statistical test here compares the P_K value to 0.50, which is the P_K value that represents no association.
