Analysis from the “Supraregional Health Service Research Network” (SHRN) based on ICD-10 and GOP (fee schedule code)

The SHRN primary care database comprises routine data of 414 498 pts from 17 family physician’s practices in urban and rural areas of the State of Baden-Württemberg (period 2000–2023). This represents about 3% of the state’s population (as of 2022). While all patients of the participating practices were included in the study (complete survey), the lack of a random selection process in recruiting the practices means that the patient group covered is not immediately representative of the state’s population.
