Lower case letters indicate the vector sequence consisting of an N-terminal 6×His affinity tag and TEV protease recognition sequence introduced for recombinant expression. The slash (/) denotes the TEV protease cleavage site (ENLYFQ↓S). The affinity tag was removed by TEV protease digestion prior to crystallization, leaving three vector-derived residues (sna) at the N-terminus of the recombinant protein.
