Figure 2.

Panel A shows a histological section with large, pale, well-defined villous structures, while panel B shows a section with irregular cellular proliferation and loss of normal villous architecture under pink and purple stains.

Histopathological findings confirming the diagnosis of twin tubal ectopic pregnancy. (A) Endometrial curettage specimen showing secretory-phase endometrium with stromal decidualization and focal Arias–Stella reaction (glandular nuclear atypia associated with ectopic pregnancy). No chorionic villi or trophoblastic cells are identified, excluding an intrauterine pregnancy (H&E, ×100). (B) Resected left fallopian tube specimen revealing two distinct foci of chorionic villi and trophoblastic cells, confirming twin ectopic gestation within the tubal lumen (H&E, ×100). The combined findings established the definitive diagnosis of unilateral twin tubal ectopic pregnancy.
