iNANC nerve-induced airway smooth muscle relaxation is impaired after allergen challenge due to deficiency of nNOS-derived NO. Electrical field stimulation-induced relaxation of precontracted tracheal open-ring preparations obtained from unchallenged and from OA-challenged guinea pigs in the absence and presence of the NOS inhibitor L-NNA (100 μM).
