Continuous variables are presented as mean (SD); categorical variables are presented as n (%).

aTownsend deprivation index = a composite area-level measure of deprivation based on unemployment, non-car ownership, non-home ownership, and household overcrowding; a higher score indicates higher deprivation.

bRegular NSAID use was assessed through a questionnaire. Participants were asked about their regular use (defined as most days of the week for the last 4 weeks) of common over-the-counter medications, including various brand names for aspirin, ibuprofen, paracetamol, and codeine. The questionnaire provided a comprehensive list of brand names to ensure accurate reporting of NSAID use, including combinations and less commonly recognized trade names.

BMI, Body Mass Index; NSAID, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug; HRT, hormone replacement therapy; LPA, light physical activity; MVPA, moderate-to-vigorous physical activity.
