Accumulation of Gag precursor proteins in cells transfected with PPPY-mutated HTLV-1 proviruses. After a 15-min pulse with radioactive medium, a chase with nonradioactive medium was performed for various amounts of time, and HTLV-1 Gag proteins were immunoprecipitated from transfected-cell lysates. Immunoprecipitates were electrophoresed in SDS-13% polyacrylamide gels and visualized by autoradiography.
