The spectrum displays two series of peaks, the so-called b ions and y ions, that allow the sequence to be elucidated. A part of the y-ion series consists of the masses 851.4, 750.3, 647.4, 544.4, 416.3, 303.2, and 175.9, which correspond to the partial sequence T-C-C-(Q/K)-L-(Q/K)-R.
