The values correspond to the δ = 0.0025 curves in Fig. 3 A. The histograms are generated from a model (Eq. 8) rather than experimentally obtained, so a reduced χ2 ≤ 1 implies that the ideal PCH model describes the deadtime modified PCH. A reduced χ2 > 1 implies that the ideal PCH model does not describe the deadtime PCH, which is the case for the more severely affected dual-channel PCHs (i.e., those with the highest concentrations). The number of data points used was 6 × 106.
