The normalized initial adsorption rates of colipase obtained at initial surface pressures of 15 (○), 20 (□), 25 (⋄), 30 (•), and 40 (▪) mN/m are plotted against the DO mole fraction. Representative continuous fit lines through data obtained at 20 (dotted), 30 (dashed), and 40 (solid) mN/m up to Xcplx were generated by substituting Eq. 7 into Eq. 6 with the fitted values of APL = 58.3 Å2, Acr = 84.8 Å2, and β = −29.5 Å2 and molecular areas generated using the polynomial fitting parameters in Table 1 (see also text in Colipase Adsorption to Two-Component Monolayers at X ≤ Xcplx).
