Influence of the ionic strength on the properties of LDAO at pH 7.9. By adding 100 mM NaCl to the calibration standards, the cmc drops from 1.9 mM to 1.7 mM and the contact angle is decreased from 70° to 65°, giving evidence for a higher surface excess in the latter case.
