BD methodology. PC or cyt c6 is randomly placed on a sphere A, 90 Å distance from the center of mass of cyt f. It is allowed to move one step at a time under the influence of an electrostatic field and a random Brownian factor. Many such steps form a trajectory, which is terminated when the mobile molecule exits sphere B (200 Å). The smallest Fe-Cu or Fe-Fe distance is recorded for each trajectory (point C).
