a

Data presented as age-adjusted mortality rate ratios (with 95% confidence intervals). All cancer mortality rates are for the years 2018-2022.

b

Represents the total number of counties in each cluster for all cancer sites combined. For the White population, the number of counties for each outcome is: all cancer – 1,216; lung cancer – 665; colorectal cancer – 386; breast cancer – 341; prostate cancer – 300. For the Black population, the number of counties for each outcome is: all cancer – 3,032; lung cancer – 2,654; colorectal cancer – 1,970; breast cancer – 1,599; prostate cancer – 1,425.

c

Only 1 county had at least 3 breast cancer deaths among White women in cluster 10.

d

Zero counties in cluster 10 have at least 3 prostate cancer deaths per year on average among White men.
