Subcellular localization of F-NS3 mutants with Casp8m-GFP. Neuro-2a cells were cotransfected with plasmids expressing Casp8m-GFP and F-NS3⁴⁶¹del, F-NS3³⁷¹del, F-NS3¹⁸¹del, F-NS3³⁷²st, or F-NS3⁴⁶²st. At 18 h after transfection, cells were fixed and stained with mouse anti-Flag MAb and rhodamine-conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG to visualize F-NS3 mutants. The same field of cells was examined by confocal microscopy for both DAPI staining and immunofluorescence (GFP, rhodamine, and overlay of GFP and rhodamine).
