Northern blot analysis of RNA from the RRP6 NLS mutant. Strain BPO2-KAN carrying yeast CEN plasmids expressing the rrp6-15 mutant as GFP-fusion proteins was grown in synthetic complete glucose media lacking uracil and methionine at 30°C. Total RNA was isolated, and 10 μg was analyzed by Northern blotting for the RNA species indicated at the left.
