The amount of time allowed for negative and positive selection are shown for each round. Selection conditions were as presented in the Materials and Methods section, with the exception that only 5 μM S28A substrate was used for the (+) selection in Rounds 5 and 6 of the Rev ARM reselection and in Rounds 4, 5, and 6 of the Rev protein reselection. Additionally, 20 μM S28A substrate was used for the (−) selection in Round 6 of the Rev ARM reselection.
