DNA binding by the R/M complex. Radiolabeled 160 nt ssDNA or 160 bp dsDNA fragments were incubated at a concentration of 2.5 nM DNA fragments with the indicated concentrations of R/M for 20 min at 25°C. Samples were analyzed by agarose gel electrophoresis, followed by autoradiography. Positions of unbound ssDNA, dsDNA and DNA–protein complexes (C) are indicated.
