Immunoblot analysis of NCC and pNCC in urinary exosomes of hypertensive and normotensive KTR. Patients from the KTR population were divided into two groups: patients with or without hypertension (Hypertensive and normotensive, respectively). No difference was observed in NCC (A) and pNCC (B) abundances between the two groups. Densitometric analyses of immunoblot for TSG101 (C) revealed no significant difference between the two groups. Thus, after normalization for TSG101 abundance, total NCC (D) and pNCC (E) abundances were still not significantly different between the two groups of KTR. Dataset are presented as box plots with whiskers representing the 5th and the 95th percentile, N = 48 KTR with hypertension and 10 KTR without hypertension. Statistical significance was assessed using Mann-Whitney test.
