(B) EMSA using site C DNA as a probe. 32P-Labeled site C DNA was mixed with 200 ng of various mutants of GST–AlF-C2-fusion protein in the absense (lanes 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16, 19, 22 and 25) or presence of 100-fold molar excess amounts of non-labeled site C DNA (lanes 2, 5, 8, 11, 14, 17, 20, 23 and 26) or unrelated DNA[site A DNA from the AldB gene promoter (8); lanes 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24 and 27).
