Immunoblots showed increased expression of MT I and II in cells exposed to 100 μM ZnSO₄ for 6–24 h. Each lane was loaded with 40 μg of total cell lysate. Demonstration of actin was used as a loading control. As an internal standard, 1 μg of MT was added to some control cell suspensions.
