Ecotypes Ru-0, Da(1)-12, Col-0, and Mr-0 hydrolyze glucosinolates to isothiocyanates and thus do not have a functional ESP. Ru-0, Da(1)-12, and Col-0 do not express the ESP gene; Mr-0 does, but it has a deletion in the ORF.
