SN56 cells bind aggregates of purified PrP-res. SN56 cells were treated with 20 ng of purified PrP-res either labeled with a primary amine-reactive dye (Alexa Fluor 568; succinimidyl ester) (A to C) or unlabeled (D and E) and examined by fluorescence microscopy after 2 days.
