: The effect of G129R-PE40KDEL on protein synthesis and the viability of various human breast cancer cell lines expressing different levels of hPRL-R. Cells were treated for 48 h with increasing doses of G129R-PE40KDEL and the inhibition of protein synthesis was determined by measuring the incorporation of 3H-leucine into precipitable protein (A). The cell viability was determined colorimetrically by measuring the reduction of MTS by living cells. Data points presented are representative of the mean + SD from three assays performed in quadruplicate.
