PR-1 Expression in etr1-1 × Di-17, coi1-1 × Di-17, and Di-17 × Col-0 F₂ Plants.

F₂ plants from crosses between Di-17 and etr1-1, coi1-1, or Col-0 plants were inoculated with TCV (T) and scored for the presence (+) or absence (−) of an HR at 4 DPI. The genotype at the ETR1 or COI1 locus was determined by CAPS analysis. The plants were scored as resistant (R) or susceptible (S) at 14 DPI, based on absence or presence of disease symptoms, respectively. RNA was extracted from the inoculated leaves at 4 DPI and analyzed for PR-1 expression (1 to 13). The blot was also probed for rRNA as an internal control for gel loading and transfer.
