Electron microscopy of rosiglitazone-treated 3T3-L1 adipocytes. On day 8 of differentiation, 3T3-L1 adipocytes were seeded onto coverslips. On day 9, cells (B, D, and F) were treated with rosiglitazone or left untreated (A, C, and E). On day 10 (A to D) or day 11 (E and F), coverslips were fixed and prepared for electron microscopy as described in Materials and Methods.
