The filled-in symbols correspond to the trimers consisting of the bases of the highest GB which dissociate to protonated monomer only. The open symbols correspond to the trimers of the lowest GB which dissociate solely to protonated dimer. (DBU2TFA + H)+(+) is intermediate in basicity and dissociates by both pathways.
