H-MinD (2.0 μM) was added to mixtures containing phospholipid vesicles (0.5 mg/ml) and nucleotide (500 μM) in RB. MgCl2 was added to 1 mM, and mixtures were incubated for 15 min at 30°C and then subjected to centrifugation for 1 min at 16,000 × g. The percentages of H-MinD and phospholipid recovered in the pellet fractions were measured as described in Materials and Methods. The last column shows the percentages of H-MinD in the pellet fractions after adjustment for the incomplete sedimentation of phospholipids.
