The amplicons of RT-PCR (lanes 1 to 5) and PCR (lanes 6 to 10) were obtained by amplification performed with RNA extracts corresponding to 105, 104, 103, 102, and 0 CFU of L. monocytogenes/25-ml NFDM sample, respectively.
