β-Galactosidase activity is normalized to interactions between Yfp-MinD and MinD (67 Miller units) (for rows 1 through 12 and 17), Yfp-MinD and MinC (1,117 Miller units) (for rows 13 and 14), and Yfp-MinD and MinE1-31 (34 Miller units) (for rows 15 and 16). The interactions were further confirmed by the ability of AH109 cotransformants to grow in the absence of histidine and adenine; growth was observed only in the strains indicated on rows 1, 3, 6, 7, and 12 through 16.
