At this time there is little evidence to indicate that the AP1/FUL subfamily is more closely related to the AGL6 subfamily than to the SEP subfamily. Note that the arrangement of clades I and II is shown as a hypothetical order and is not meant to suggest that clades assigned to either clade have a similar evolutionary history outside of a duplication event at the base of the core eudicots.
