α-Syn initially localizes to the yeast plasma membrane prior to dispersing within the cytoplasm. Y382 cells expressing GFP-α-Syn (WT) were grown to midlog phase in −Trp medium containing 2% sucrose, harvested, and resuspended in −Trp medium containing 2% galactose.
