TABLE TWO.
Identification of peptides of RPA or hyp-RPA digested by chymotrypsin
Peptide fragment | Size | Origin | N-terminal sequence |
---|---|---|---|
kDa | |||
1 | 51 | RPA70 | 166GKAAG (major)a |
160GASKT (minor)a | |||
2 | 46 | RPA70 | 213SNSRG |
3 | 36 | RPA70 | 166GKAAG |
4 | 34 | RPA70 | 166GKAAG |
5 | 20 | RPA70 | 166GKAAG (major)a |
160GASKT (minor)a |
N-terminal sequencing gave two different sequences corresponding to two peptide fragments that migrated at the same position on SDS-PAGE. The amount of one peptide (major) was larger than the other (minor).
