Figure 6. — Aligned Duplicated Gene-Coding Sequences for Our Target Region from A. thaliana Chromosomes 3 and 5 (At3 and At5) and the Three Cleome BAC Regions (Cs1, Cs2, and Cs3) Were Each Concatenated into Single Large Sequences.

Missing genes were treated as gaps. Phylogenetic analysis of these five concatenated sequences demonstrates the relationships of the five homoeologous target regions, with the three Cleome regions being more closely related to each other than to any one of the Arabidopsis regions.
