Thalidomide attenuates tube formation in ECs. Trypsinized ECs in suspension culture were seeded on collagen coated 12 well plates with 70%cell density. After 24 hours, the ECs were treated with different concentrations of thalidomide, (50, 100 and 150 μg/ml) and incubated at 37°C/5%CO₂ for 12 hours and thereafter, total number of tubes were counted. Number of tubes was reduced in all, 50 100 and 150μg/ml thalidomide treated ECs respectively.
