Hemoglobin, g/dl (median)* 11–14.8 (13.2) 10.2–18.5 (16.6)
Blasts 0.4 ± 0.4 8.6 ± 3.8§
Myelocytes 2.5 ± 0.7 0.3 ± 0.5§
Neutrophils 64.7 ± 16.2 4.8 ± 5.7§
Eosinophils 0.7 ± 0.7 0.0 ± 0.0
Lymphocytes 26 ± 16.2 17 ± 21.5
Monocytes 4.2 ± 1.6 1.6 ± 0.9§
Normoblasts, erythroblasts 1.4 ± 1.5 66.5 ± 31.4§

More than 80% of the mice were killed within 60 days after transplantation. The mouse with acute lymphocytic leukemia (recipient of C/EBPα+/− + bcr/abl) is not included. For the differential counts, the percentage of each type of the nucleated blood cells ± SD is given.

*n = 7 for C/EBPαpos and n = 9 for C/EBPα−/− transplants.

n = 4 for C/EBPαpos and n = 5 for C/EBPα−/− transplants.

Myelocytes include promyelocytes, myelocytes, and metamyelocytes.
