Deletion of HMG2 does not suppress cold sensitivity in ubc7Δ cells. A ubc7Δ hmg2Δ double deletion mutant strain in the JRY527 background was transformed with either pAK266 or vector control plasmids. The left-most spot was inoculated from a culture at 1.4 × 10⁶ cells per ml, followed by 1:5 serial dilutions. Images were taken after 5 days of growth at 16°C.
