Rabbit neutrophils (1.0 × 106 cells/ml) were preincubated with various concentrations of K252a, PP2, or AG1478 at 37°C for 60 min, and the cells were incubated with 1.0 μg/ml alpha-toxin at 37°C for 3 min. Data are expressed as a percentage of the control (generation of O2 induced by alpha-toxin). Superoxide generation values are means ± standard error for five or six experiments. *, P < 0.01, compared with generation of O2 induced by alpha-toxin alone.
