The tail-current underlying the sAHP was observed after the application of Cs+ and apamin in OT neurons (A) and VP neurons (B). The IsAHP was well fitted by a single exponential curve. To avoid contaminating the data with the IfAHP, all fits to IsAHP decay began at 1 s after the end of square pulse where its amplitude was measured as an index of IsAHP amplitude. C, the amplitude of IsAHP increased in OT neurons during lactation, but not in VP neurons. D, when adjusted for whole-cell capacitance, current density of the IsAHP did not change.
