SH3 domain-dependent physiological suppression by Src phosphorylation conferred upon otherwise insensitive Kv1.4 homomultimers modified to contain the Kv1.5 Src ligand sequence. Currents evoked in Kv subunit cRNA-injected X. laevis oocytes were measured both immediately before and 9–12 h after a second injection with H₂O, Src_CI, or Src_CISH3_KO cRNA. Details are as in Fig. 4. The unmodified Kv1.4 groups are reproduced from Fig. 4 for comparison. Current traces within each column are drawn to the same scale, with the following peak current magnitudes after H₂O treatment: Kv1.4, 13.6 μA; Kv1.4-Pro, 14.0 μA.
