COS7 cells were first selenium starved for 7 days, followed by a 3 day treatment with no selenium or with added selenium (10 ng/ml) or G418 in the presence of selenium (10 ng/ml). (B) BAEC were cultured continually in the presence of media with 10% FCS and 10 ng/ml selenium plus G418.
