Indications
  • Bone scan positive

    • Osteoblastic lesions

  • Bone pain due to cancer

  • Multifocal disease

Relative Contraindications
  • Predominant soft-tissue pain

  • Unifocal bone lesions

  • “Osteolytic” lesions

    • Poor uptake on bone scan

Absolute Contraindications
  • Severe marrow suppression

  • Severe renal dysfunction
