Rescue of nonreactive TIL cultures. Cytokine production from coculture of transduced TIL and melanoma cell lines. Untransduced TIL or TIL transduced with GFP control vector (MSGIN), anti-MART-1 TCR vector (AIB18), or anti-gp100 TCR vector (APB9) were cocultured with the indicated cell lines (stimulators). MEL 526 and 624 are HLA-A2-positive melanoma lines while MEL 888 and 938 are A2-negative. JB2F4 and RC612 are cytotoxic T lymphocytes, which are MART-1 and gp 100 reactive, respectively.

TIL, tumor infiltrating lymphocytes; GFP, green fluorescent protein; IFN-γ, interferon-γ; GM-CSF, granulocyte macrophage-colony stimulating factor.
