1×106 IOMM-Lee parental and TFPI-2-transfected cells were suspended in 10 μL of serum-free medium and injected into 6-week old female athymic nude mice stereotactically. The mice were euthanized after 2 weeks and brains extracted, fixed with formaldehyde and H&E stained.
