CHO cells overexpressing GFP-SKD1^E235Q neither bind nor internalize LDL. CHO cells transfected with GFP-SKD1^E235Q were cultured in 5% LPDS/F12 medium. After 18 h, the cells were incubated in the presence of 10 μg/ml R18-LDL in the same medium at 37°C for 10 min (a and c) or at 4°C for 1 h (b and d).
