Combined activity of apo-lactoferrin, IgA and lysozyme against E. histolytica trophozoites. 1x106 trophozoites were placed in BI-S-33 or in low-iron media and then 1 mg/ml of apo-lactoferrin, IgA and lysozyme were added, each alone or mixed. After 3 hours of incubation, trophozoites were washed and stained with trypan blue to assess viability. Experiments were done three times in triplicate. The mean and SD were evaluated.
