The Cdo−/− brain and olfactory bulbs (arrowhead) exhibit dramatic swelling and hemorrhage, compared to the those of the wild-type littermate. (C and D) Coronal sections of brains from 3-week-old littermates. Brains were stained with nuclear fast red.
