The amino- and carboxyl-terminal domains of TFII-I are not required for interactions with Bright. Wild-type Bright and several GST-tagged TFII-I mutants (lanes 2 to 6) were coexpressed in Cos-7 cells and immunoprecipitated (IP) with anti-Bright and immunoblotted (IB) with anti-GST and anti-Bright antibodies (left panel).
