Double knockdown of TbMT417 and TbMT511 produces an additive phenotype. A. RNA was collected after 5 days from pZJMTbMT417-TbMT511 cells grown in the presence (+) and absence (−) of Tet. The RNA was run on a 1.1% formaldehyde agarose gel, blotted, and probed. The ethidium bromide stain of the rRNAs is included as a loading control. B. Primer extension analysis using total RNA collected from clonal pJZMTbMT417-TbMT511 RNAi cell lines at days 8 and 9 after Tet induction.
